If no one else wants to host a NJ State tournament this year, I would be glad to do it at Colts Neck again. I can get the church on July 12th, if that's not too late for people. It would have to be a one-day event, so we'd only have a limited set of categories available. Post here if you (1) want to host NJ States yourself-I'd be happy to support someone else, or (2) would be available to attend at Colts Neck on July 12th.

I can say that I'm off that weekend and could possibly attend.  Not sure yet though since I have two little ones at home.  So, just know that I am off and is a possibility that I could attend. If I would come, my playgroup would most likely come with me which consists of two more people.

OK, I have a date for NJ States, but have not yet submitted my final application. I can do a one-day event on July 12th. We'll run 5 events: T1-2p, T2-2p, T2-multi, Booster Draft, and Sealed (especially geared toward new players-will have to run with other events). If any event doesn't have enough players, I'll switch off to another if possible, but I'm only applying for five due to the one-day structure.

Location: Colts Neck Community Church, Colts Neck, NJ

Probable schedule:
9AM: T1-2p, T2-multi (and possibly Sealed)
2PM: Booster, T2-2p (The T2s will probably just run back-to-back on whatever time frame is needed.)

Cost: $5 general registration; no other fee for open deck, additiional $9 for Sealed and $15 for Booster (Tins, probably running just #20-26, with missing packs and Angel Wars).

I may also bring back the NJ States Silent Auction...

Once I have official status, I'll post an official thread.

Although it's not "official" official yet, I've posted a page for the NJ States. (Exchanged e-mails with Rob, but just sent the application. I expect it to be approved, unless Rob's still holding that whole "autograph" incident against me...)

Do you hold tournaments at different churches in Nj?  Would like to set up a local tournment at our church in malaga, NJ at faith fellowship. We are located outside of Vineland. Our church is small and we have just a few teens. Would like a Christian based  activities for them, with the hopes of building a larger teen group.  Can you possibly help us get started?

I normally host at my home church, but I'd be glad to help you set up a tournament at your church. We'd have to work out a date and time, but if we can I could come as a host and walk you through the process so you could do it on your own. I'm usually not available in September and October (arching band season), but if you have a couple of Saturdays you could hold an event PM me and we'll work something out.

If you can make it to Colts Neck this weekend (Monmouth County, near Freehold), we could also talk there.

Ooo that would be awesome!  I will check with the youth leader and get some dates set up and will send to you. Please keep me posted for future dates for tournaments. I am still learning to play and need lots of practice lol.  Thanks so much.

I found a tin left at the church after NJ States. It has what looks to be the leftover cards from Booster, in a Tin 22 (Genesis/Egyptian), plus a few sleeves with mounted knights on them. I think it might be Dario's. If you recognize this tin, PM me and I'll send it to you (or hold it until the next time I see you, if we regularly meet up at tournaments).
