We had posted this type of thread a couple of years ago and we are doing it once again this year.

Please PM me if you have posted a Nats 2014 travel-related post on these boards. I will include them in the link list below. I will categorize the links accordingly.

I'm going to try to come, and would be more than willing to have people ride with me from TN. That said, my job situation is constantly changing, so I won't know for sure until it gets a bit closer to time, but I thought I'd throw it out there.

Rebeccah,(age 19 who is a former Nats. winner), and I,(Allen Collins age 61), will be driving up to MN Nats leaving Wed. morning Aug. 6 around 7am from eastside of Cincinnati, OH. We live at 3802 Fulton Grove Rd. Cincinnati, OH. 45245. We can take two passengers willing to meet us around Cincy. Total cost for each passenger will be $45.00 for gas. My email is: cebsnov@aol.com. I looked you up on fb and i recognize you not sure if we've met but I've been at several recent nats 2006 2008 2010 2012 and 2013 would be just me and I'd arrive Tuesday night sometime would need to be picked up in Cincinnati and crash for the night. Nashville. I may have a full car already though.

The job situation has changed, and it's much easier to get off work, although my supervisor who does the scheduling is leaving, so I'm still not 100% going just yet, but it's likely.

I am going to be flying into the Rochester Int'l Airport at like noon on Wednesday. I know thats fairly early but, I can hang around at the airport till whenever but I will need a ride to the church. And I would need a ride back to the airport on Saturday night.

You aren't the only one getting in at 6th. We'll work something out, I'm sure.

Also, if anybody near by is driving up, I'd love to join you.

so would it be best to take the shuttle? Due to flying standby, I have no idea which flight I'll be on. Or what time it will get in. I may not even know that day.

Rochester direct costs: lots of money
Minneapolis flying standby cost: $0

with those options, Minneapolis wins. Shuttle round trip for $55 is less than the price of a direct flight to Rochester

Rochester Direct is a shuttle service between MSP and various places in Rochester. Probably should have specified, haha.

I know this is late but I'm looking to see if there is anyone to carpool with. I'm in the Dayton, OH area.

There are a couple cars going to Nats from the Dayton area but they are pretty full and plan to leave Wed. morning which would cost me over $100 in babysitting so I would need to leave closer to 5:00 P.M. on Wed (when my wife is off work).

So anybody out there that their trip would bring them near Dayton OH around 5:00 on Wed?
