Creation Festival 09!

Hey all,

We're doing it again! John Michaliszyn, myself, and Nathan Mashuda are sharing the awesomeness of Redemption at Creation Festival, Northeast.

We will be hosting tournaments 3-4 times a day, in the corner of the large vendor barn by the back entrance. Trust me, we make our presence known.

We will mostly be hosting T1 events, Booster, and sealed deck. If enough people come with T2 decks, we will consider throwing in a tournament for a few of you guys too!

We also will be doing tutorials for interested/new players. It's going to be a great week of fun and fellowship! All of the tournaments will be local tournaments, and we will have promos for each one. We also will have other great Cactus products (Apples to Apples, Settlers, etc).

Hope to see you at some point during the week!

Glad to see it stay alive. Creation Festivals in the mid-90s were my first exposure to Redemption, and there were awesome people around to play, trade, and talk with. Adding John Mxyzptlk and Marti to the deal only makes it better. I'm excited for you guys!

After seeing Rob Anderson talk about Redemption on the 700 Club I was first exposed to the game at Kingdom Bound which is held at Darien Lake, NY every year.  It has probably been at least 5 years if not 9 or 10 that I last saw a redemption booth at Kingdom Bound. Any one know who use to run that booth and why it stopped? 

I did see the Redemption Booth the year Creation was at Hersey park but was not activity in the game at the time. Keep it up guys!

David Easterling used to do all the festivals, but he stopped doing all of them. Creation is the only one we've done so far, but once I get more of an income, I hope to do another couple of festivals, because it's important.

Can't wait; Curtis (who was with me last year) and I both plan on participating a lot this year, since we have decks that might prove competitive this year. Let me know if you guys want help setting up; even if it's just a few minutes of setting stuff up.

http://www.creationfest.com/ is the website. It's the biggest Christian festival on the east coast (Right?), and we host tournaments in a booth throughout the festival.

Isn't Creation Fest the biggest annual Christian festival period (counting CFW)?

Anyways, I did take a break from the game, mostly because I sort of lost interest, but I figure Creation is a good chance for me to get back into it.
