If it's in Iowa it will be right next to a corn field... just outside North Liberty (essentially Iowa City) at Grace Community Church. I'm willing to host the event. Last I heard there were other people in line ahead of me for this year, but nothing official has been decided yet.

There it is folks, let the campaign begin! Iowa may never get to (have to?) have a halftime show with Beyonce, but at least we can trust Gabe to keep the lights on.

Sweet! This Hawkeye alum is very familiar with the area. Ideally for me, attending NEXT year in Iowa would be a near certainty as I am already planning a trip to the Quad Cities in the summer of 2014. I've got family, friends, and a nationally televised antique shop to visit in Le Claire, Princeton, and Clinton.

But if it is this year I MAY be able to swing it if the Lord is merciful and shelters me from any financial setbacks.

I remember making a big deal out of Pizza Ranch at regionals a few years back because Austin had no good pizza at the time. Oh how times have changed now that I'm within walking distance to Mesa and Punch.

Texas. Personally I hope Texas hosts one or two years down the line and not now.

Louisiana had it. If Sheriff Buford T. Justice can wander over to the Bayou state any ol' time he wants and consider it his territory, so can the TX groups.

1 - Nats is in the NE or Iowa this year
2 - YMT put in a serious bid for Nats next year

Then:
I think he'd have a really good shot at it.

The only problems I could see would be:
1 - if it is the NE 2013, then MN might complain about 3 years in a row being in the East
2 - if it is Iowa 2013, then the NE might complain about 4 years in a row NOT being in the NE

To be fair, the game seems to be pretty concentrate in the NE and midwest(for the sake of this argument, TN is midwest) right now with smaller active pockets in FL Texas and the Northwest.
