Dunlap, TN--August 9, 2013

Local (Open) Tournament. Host: Rex Adams, Eutonville Baptist Church, rexadams_1999@yahoo.com, 2420 Old Union Road, Dunlap, TN 37327. Type: Closed Deck - 2 Player ($15.00), Type 1 - 2 Player ($3.00), Type 2 - Multi-player ($3.00), and Type 1 - Teams ($3.00). Starts 8:00am.

I know this is the same weekend as nats but it is for the people who can't make it to New York.  I got the O.K. from Rob and this is the first chance to get points for the new season. This link is wrong.  The cost is $20 for the closed deck and free for the other items. The reason the closed deck is $20 is because you are going to get both decks and the new tin for playing the closed deck event.  Also Times are negotiable so if everyone r.s.v.p.s and arrives early, we will start early.

the times are as follows: (times are central time)

Friday            8:00    Type 2  Multiplayer
Saturday       8:00    Closed Deck    2-Player

Type 1 2-player and Type 1-teams  to follow

Going to provide sleeping area with showers and full gym to play in.  Also working on food for the tourney. My church said that if this goes well and they get their money back for the cards, I can host more events like this (maybe a few booster drafts)

See you there!

Great job spacy (Rex) on the first tournament for the new year (for those of us in TN who couldn't make it this year to Nats). Thought it ran really smooth and looking forward to more tournaments in Dunlap. Thanks for making it affordable and fun for us. Keep up the good work your doing with your young group. Blessings-Josh

My next tourney for September will be a mono madness tourney. Decks must be constructed with 1 single color heroes and 1 single color evil characters. Everything else will be Type 1 deck building rules. You are allowed 1 multi color hero and evil character and enhancements can be any color. How would you build. Going to run 2 player and either teams or multi-player for this.

I'm trying to get the group to think about their colors more and how to make them work together.
