Post by: SirNobody on September 03, 2008, 01:55:48 AM
Hey,

I have once again updated the Career RNRS Spreadsheet.  You can download it here (http://www.freewebs.com/redemptionne/(08)%20All%20RNRS%20Separate%20Pages.xls) (warning: this file is 12+ MB).

Some highlights from the year:

- 221 players won their first RNRS ponts ever this year (and 582 players overall won RNRS points).
- Gabe Isbell had the best single year ever with 367 points breaking Chris Bany's previous record of 319.
- Justin Alstad and Tim Maly joined Chris Bany as the only three players to exceed 1000 career ponts.
- Tim Maly (T1-2P) and Chris Bany (T2-2P) became the first players to total over 400 points in a single category.
- Three of the six single cateogry all time leaders changed.  The new/current leaders are: T1-2P Tim Maly, T2-2P Chris Bany, T1-MP Justin Alstad, T2-MP Justin Alstad, SD-2P Ben Shadrick, and SD-BD Ben Shadrick.

The top ten all time RNRS leaders are now:

Am I still somewhere in the 450s?  :)

:edit: crud, I'm in a 5-way tie for 400th.  I need to sharpen my skills and do worse in future tournaments!

Yeah, yeah. It's REAL HARD to get a bunch of points when your dad is the one hosting a bunch of tournaments.

Hey Tim,

It says Chad Soderstrom hasn't gotten any Booster Draft points. He got 2nd in a District and 1st at South Central Regionals this past year. (40 RNRS Points)

Thanks,
Ben

I double checked and found those 40 points where they should be.  Perhaps you're looking for them in the wrong place? (they would be on the sheet "SD-BD")

Hey,

It goes back to 2001, the first year that RNRS points were awarded.  In 2001 only first place RNRS points were handed out, 2nd and 3rd place got points for the first time in 2002.

Ben, do I sense a multi-player tag-team match in TJs future? We could build identical Purple n Brown T2 bruise decks, all for TJs enjoyment..........muhwahahaahhhaaaaahahahaaha,  maybe that got a little dark at the end, but Scott and I do know that he really likes to play against FbtN offenses and PG paralysis defenses in Type NW Team play. Let me know what you think.

Godspeed,
Mike

I am assuming this is the 2008-2009 season?

*edit*  yes.

Made in the top 200 after just one year plus one tourney the previous year.  Neat!

Hey,

I am assuming this is the 2008-2009 season?

When will the next one come out?

Actually this is only up through Nationals 2008 (although you won't actually be able to download "this" because I took the file off my website).  I updated the file after Nationals 2009 and you can find that file in this (http://www.cactusgamedesign.com/message_boards/index.php?topic=17598.0) thread.

I will update it again after Nationals 2010.
