There is a plan for the distribution which we will share on Land of Redemption before the sets release.

It is the perfect thing to do. If people seem interested they can do it, but if people aren't terribly interested they can pass it off as an April Fools joke.

What's the 1-3 and the LR stand for?

We’re still working out the numbering system but if that is what’s used...

1 = phase 1, 3 = card 3

Easter and April Fools day are over. So I have some good news and some bad news (or better news depending on how you look at it).

Good news - Legacy Rares are real and will be very much like the TGT example in post #2. More info to come via spoilers on Land of Redemption.

Other news - TGT is not a real Legacy Rare this year (maybe ever). As we introduce old cards to the new card face we are selectively choosing ones that we feel are balanced in their old form and not in need of a reprint that does something different. Sorry, that means you won’t see AutO.

Interesting. Does this mean that we can be expecting a set rotation within the next few years? The hesitation to reprint possibly overpowered cards in the new face would make sense if that was the case - no reason to worry about just making new copies of unbalanced cards people already have, unless the old ones won't be usable at some point in the future.

It’s way too early to tell. But we want to move forward wisely in case that possibility becomes a reality.
