Redemption came into my life in the summer of 2012. I was coming off a 2nd major concussion in my college wrestling career and was told I should walk away. I’ve always loved competition and the drive to improve myself within competition. Redemption filled the loss of wrestling in life.
I experienced a tremendous amount of success in redemption due in large part to my brother Jerome who beat well over 50 times before I ever beat him. I also owe gratitude to Charles Johnson, Brian Jones, John Early, Justin Alstad and Gabe Isabell. Each of these men play tested with me, challenged my thinking on the game, gave me insight into cards and strategies and chose to be my friends. I want to thank the community at large, you’ve been supportive, kind and above all God honoring.
I’m not sure how else to say it except goodbye. I love the game, the community and Rob Anderson for providing such unique oppurtunities. Since 2012, I’ve gotten married, had 3 children and taken on a paid position in my church. My life doesn’t allow me the time I desire to invest in the game anymore.
I still hope to put in a bid for nationals in 2020. (My church should be completed in June of 2019 PTL)I will probably play in a tournament here and there for kicks but I’m not going to be challenging for titles any time soon.
Mostly I want to convey my thanks and gratitude to you all!
Blessings in the new year!

Sad to see you selling! Best of luck with everything and that's wonderful you are working in the church!

It's been wonderful to get to know you through this game, Josiah! You have friends that will loan you a deck anytime you want to play at a high level tournament. I don't doubt you will still compete with the best!

As I attempt my inner Roy Cruz, I would still hold on to a starter deck or a little more. I have actually had an opportunity to show people this game after taking a full time church position. Of course the position itself will say who that audience is and what you can actually do with the game. Been an honor to get to know you and spend time with you!

You have a deck anytime you want to come back. Pop in here every so often.

Thank you Chris for your 'inner me'. I am glad that I can rest one day in my old age knowing that someone is paying it forward with my motto for those who are and will be on Redemption hiatus.
Josiah, see you soon in a few years, Godwilling, as your three offsprings (or more) see action in the game for the first time. That day is when they pay utter homage to a great Redemption jedi and dad. Enjoy your hiatus son. And may God continue with His plan to make you and Jerome His 'instruments' as he has for Jay and Chris.
Thanks for being a great treasure for the north east and beyond
Love ya.

Congratulations on your accomplishments since 2012. God Bless.
