I agree...but for the game purpose I can see what he's saying. There is CM and AotL. So I can see it going both ways

It is weaker than AoCP. It can be prevented which opens it up for a whole bunch of mainstream way to stop it. Adding the cannot be prevented just gives a little extra spice. cannot be prevented =\= cannot be interrupted, prevented, or negated.

I am going to end this thread by describing the way I think the card should work.

I think this is cool because of the Sog thing going on and it shows that angels can't be killed and that JESUS is supreame.

What about:

Almost the same thing, but it is actually quite different. Your version simply removed the CBN status by showing SoG. The hero would still need a negate card to stop everyone from being discarded. My version actually negates the card by showing SoG. It is the same idea used by Sinning Hand.

Both work, but your version is more powerful. My version adds strategy; there would be a reason for some to play with the old version.

You know, to be completely accurate, the opponent should discard SoG. However, that would be a very big cost. Let's see if this would work okay:

To be COMPLETELY accurate, that discarded Son of God should return to hand in 3 turns...

Not really. It is pretty easy to protect heroes (especial teal) from discard. It is not very easy to protect ECs from it. Also, having an artifact up just to make something CBN is a huge cost.

The best way to play Wrath is HT side-battle with Zecheriah while Z-Temple is out.

Protecting heroes from discard isn't that easy... it's really only useful and effective with teal, and still that's only 1 of 7 brigades (yeah, red doesn't count), and not all teal decks use the covenant (I don't think Gabe did but I could be wrong).

Also, play philistine chariots and horses to make this combo pretty easy to pull off.
