This looks awesome but I'm telling you bro I am a huge fan of your updated card designs like the one you did for Paul. If I owned Redemption, your card template would be the one in use today. It is forward, while still parallel, and has the aesthetic appeal necessary for mainstream market

This look is litttt. I might bring back the serif font too just cause it's classy xD

Love the look of your SOG, Daniel!

Thank you sir!

Yes, originally I meant for this Kingdom set to be designed with this look. I've been designing Redemption cards for literally about 10 years, after being inspired by a few people who made very convincing-looking cards. Tim Mierz and Eric Largent were my biggest inspirations, and although it might sound funny to people, I've literally spent a decade trying to make my cards look like the real thing. This hasn't been possible for a majority of that time (due to not being able to afford professional graphic design software, and not having high-quality images of Redemption cards to work off of), so my cards were never quite right. I'm a perfectionist, so my answer to this was essentially to build my own Redemption cards and redesign the elements (hence my 2012 redesign thread, which prompted Cactus to change the design of the cards in the 2013 starter decks).

However, due to the tireless work of Gabe in uploading full scale high resolution images of the recent sets, my cards finally look legit. Like, they look perfect. And it's kind of gratifying. This will likely be my last full fan expansion, so I want them to look like real cards. I don't play Redemption any more (and haven't for a long time), there's just something that I love about making cards.

I love the look on the sun of God. I just hope the next time they print the Son of God it says "MAY negate and Rescue a lost soul". I find it sometimes useful not to negate the lost soul.

I don't know why the best card in the game really needs to be made better, especially when it completely removes any reason to play the older version of the card if you do so.

Well it should have been printed that way in the first place. Most of the time when you reprint a card people stop using the old card. I can't name a single person who plays with the old son of God. But it is the Son of God he should be able to do whatever he would like! Besides it'll sell a lot more starter decks just to get the new Son of God. Not to mention that technically the new son of Gods negate's the new Enoch from cloud of witnesses.
