Hey guys! Just tinkering around and I came up with a design for text-only, printer-friendly cards. What do you think?

I'd make the verse text and identifier smaller so the ability stands out more.

Ah, good call. Something like this?

Its pretty cool. For your mock-up the only two critiques I might have are that the "Dragon" icon appears to be a horse head and a Demon would be Orange assuming this is a reprint of an old card being brought into the current era.

I thought so too, even though the icon I downloaded said dragon, lol. I thought about making it look more medieval, like it came from an ancient book. But, do you think these would be useful?

I think they could be useful as proxies for play-testing. One thing that lacks in many proxy cards is the full wording and all of the identifiers. You have all of that covered with your layout.
-
Another thing this could accomplish is something else that was asked/mentioned and that is that it would be very simple to add the color to this and create a color-blind version of this game.

For instance, find a way to put the word "Orange" on the demon card you have mocked up.

To save ink you should make a option where you flip the the colors in the top left corner. Flip it the black backgroud to white in a black circle, black text and a black dragon head.

I like this, but I’m curious how this design would handle 3/4 color cards, territory class, warrior class, cloud, Star etc.

Much better. I am also curious about what Kor brings up. There is enough space across the top for more text or perhaps a list of identifiers.
