Hey guys,

If you want your card ideas turned into images, simply post the information in this thread and I'll make it using the new 2013 design!

Use the following guide for your card info:

Title:
Brigade:
Numerical Abilities:
Class:
Special Ability:
Identifiers:
Verse: (I'd prefer if you copy the full verse as well as the reference)
Border Color: (See Below)
URL of the image you would like me to use within the card. Higher resolution is better, and avoid images with watermarks if you can.

Regarding border color, refer to the following chart for color options. Most of these colors were pulled directly from the I/J set, with one or two additions to fill out the spectrum. If you wish to use a custom color, I can do that too, just let me know.

This is a very generous offer. We have a bunch of new playgroup members and historically I had made player cards for them but have gotten severely out of practice in making cards. Would you mind doing a few cards for our new players when I get the info you need from them and probably a picture as well? Do you prefer I provide a picture or do you like doing that part as well? Thanks!

If you can find a picture, that would be ideal. If not, I can definitely find images for the cards.

The larger the image, the better, especially if you want me to use the large 400 DPI template.

And that's why I had linked samples of the three template sizes in the original post.

When I say 400DPI, that means 400 dots (pixels) per inch.

That is one of the coolest-looking cards I've ever seen. I'd recommend Cactus print it and bring back packs with rarity just because of the sheer cool factor of buying packs in hopes of seeing that fellow staring at you from between commons and uncommons!

Well, they'd need to acquire the rights to print said image, but yeah, it worked really well with the size of the image box.

Slight update:

The original black outlines around the card and scripture box were bugging me with how faded they were, and the fuzzy "artist unknown" text was irritating me too...

So I went ahead and redid all of those parts on all the frames. See the comparison below. All cards from here out will benefit from these changes.

A slight note, only the basic color frames will line up perfectly with each other. However, these two frames lined up fairly well, so I went with your original idea.

The most ridiculous thing about this is that I literally had a dream the night before this that Lambo put together all of the cards for Cactus' new starter set. I sent him a PM on 8/23 to tell him about my dream before he posted this thread and he posted the thread before he saw my message.

I looked all over for a higher resolution image, but couldn't find it...

So, I just had to make do and scale the size up, which lowers the quality of the image. That's why Strength in Christ looks fuzzy, while Zephaniah does not.

The image you wanted for Isaac's altar was way too wide to fit in the icon box, so I found another similar one that worked better with the vertical image area. Also, I figured I'd give Sarah the same type of card that her husband had.
