Trying to build a new "introduction" deck. So what I need is crazy/silly things you can do in a side battle that help you out a ton, and either hurt or is a neutral action for the opponent. I already know the King Rehoboam side battle followed by In the Clouds or Strife. I also know about Troops Discharged with Besieging the City, but that is about it. So help me out please!

Good: Start an evil side battle between the blocker and an EC in opponent's territory and then play Grapes of Wrath on one of the characters. They lose both (one discarded, one shuffled) and you are now unblocked.
Good: Start an evil side battle and play Great Image (really fun in multi-player).
Good: Start an evil side battle (could be with the opponent's blocker if you believe they don't have a negate) and your EC with initiative, and then play Death of Unrighteous. Your LS get shuffled and your Hero is now unblocked.

Evil: Play Christian Suing Another to make a side battle between Abraham + Isaac vs the rescuing hero with Darius' Decree active. Use Isaac to topdeck CSA, rinse and repeat.

Attack with Uriah. Play Sing and Praise, make an EC fight your black EC. Play Wrath of Satan. You lose Uriah, your opponent loses all their heroes. CBN.
Start a side battle on offense, then control an EC in the side battle that can defeat the EC blocking your hero (Lions, Bab Siege Army, etc). Works even better if you don't put the blocking EC in battle so that they don't get Special Initiative.
Start a side battle on defense, play a GE that can defeat the hero in the main battle (Drawn Sword for example).

Start a side battle on offense with your naaman + chariots. You d2 and play Syrian victory to capture their ec and a hero from territory for raiders camp for their next turn. It's basically a d2, a rescue and a potential free block if you pull it off.

Nice! You could do the same thing with Nergal + Horses + Head of Gold.
