This game is on my Christmas list this year!  Thanks Dane for the introduction to this game at PA Regionals at which I won my first category ever! It was only Sealed....but still....exciting! But Xia was friggin awesome!

Host a tourney, I'll bring it up ;)  We have been meaning to do a multi-day at some point again anyway.

Love the game, and recommend it highly just for the shiny pieces...but you can play completely different games each time you start it up due to the distribution of sectors and how people feel like playing that night (since trader, explorer, pirate, hunter, and hired-ship are all legitimate ways to win).

Board Game Geek link, for those who want to learn more.

Also...if anyone has their hands on the kickstarter-exclusive Envoy Missions...I'd be willing to part with a lot of cards for them...

Is this the game we played at Nats with the planets and nebulae and ships and bounties and stuff? Because that was super fun.

That it is!  They're going to be releasing an expansion sometime in the future, and the owner has also released templates so that you can build your own cards (sectors, ships, and so on), so I might toy with some of those as house rules, too.

Gosh! I just saw this post now after month and months!  I forgot I originally started this one! So, if there is an expansion coming then the game still exists out there????? I can't find it anywhere!!!! I tried!  However, I did get Legendary for Christmas!!!

There is an expansion, but last I saw it was print-to-play with their own printing of it coming soon.  They still have a link on their site (www.faroffgames.com/xia/) to Amazon, so you should be able to get it from there at least.

For those who have or want to have this game, you need to go here now.  This expansion is...incredible.  For those who have the game, just read the new proposed rules, and you'll see that basically all of the problems people did have with the game before have been fixed really well, and then some.

So I cancelled my other pledge and totally backed this. Hoping it comes on time (March of next year) cuz then it'll be my birthday present to myself. :D

He posted an update with a video of him and his wife reacting to the project hitting the funding goal in like 90m. It's super sweet, he's like crying and stuff.

So happy to be a part of this project.

I'm glad Flag Dash finished funding so you didn't cancel that pledge. ;)

I would never cancel Flag Dash! I don't like canceling pledges ever but in this case I couldn't afford that one and Xia and I was more excited about Xia.
